 Who are we?

We are students, and faculty in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Victoria. Since many undergraduate students are often off site for co-op programs, we are fortunate to have graduate student support.

If you are interested in participating either as a volunteer and/or as mentor/mentee, please contact us at mentor@csc.uvic.ca.

Interested in Being a Mentee?

If you are a first year student or this is your first year at the University of Victoria, and you would like to have a mentor to help show you the ropes, then this program is for you.

Interested in Being a Mentor?

Generally we ask that mentors have co-op work term, or comparable experience.  However, even without these specific qualifications, if you feel confident that you can show a newcomer the ropes here at the University of Victoria, then please come on board as a mentor.

Interested in Making this Happen?

If you like the idea of a mentor program, but aren't particularly interested in either mentor or mentee role, then how about working with the organizers to make this happen?  This is a program with 101 things to be done.  Volunteers are welcome.  Let us know your contact information (email and telephone), time constraints (eg. 1 hour a week), and any activities you might specifically be interested in doing (eg. web admin, event management).
