C SC 349A (1 1/2) NUMERICAL ANALYSIS: I
An introduction to selected topics in Numerical Analysis. Typical areas covered: error analysis, roots of equations, systems of linear equations, linear programming, interpolation, numerical integration, and ordinary differential equations. (Prerequisites: 115 or 160, and MATH 200, 201, and either 110 or 211) (NOTE: MATH 201 may be taken as as a corequisite.) (NOTE: credit will be granted for only one of CSc 349A, CSc 340, Math 348 or equivalent. ) |
