• Community Outreach Programs:
  • Aboriginal Connections to Computers, Engineering and Software Systems (ACCESS)
  • The Computer-Science Volunteer Program (CSVP)
  • Solving Problems with Algorithms, Robots and Computer Science (SPARCS)
  • Women in Engineering and Computer Science (WECS)

The purpose of our community outreach programs is to inform, educate and train individuals and groups of all ages about computer science. Our current programs include problem solving and programming skills with focus to women, aboriginals, and children from grades 3 to 8 as well as computer literacy training for seniors.

Our goal is to correct the perception, enhance public awareness, inform about job opportunities and foster interest in young children about the computer science discipline.
