An unofficial spinoff of the world-renowned Music Hack Day series, the second UVic Music Hack Day touches down on January 21, 2012 at 10 am in ECS 660.
Participants have 12 hours to build and present project of their choice, ranging from data source mash-ups to new control interfaces to magic composition algorithms - if it touches music, it can (and should!) build it. If you’ve never been to a Hack Day, the object is to get a cool idea working as fast as possible. You work alone or in teams, and present what you’ve got at the end of the day. It’s a great way to meet your fellow students, to build something fun, and to work on your coding chops.
