This Thursday, December 8th, 10am to 6pm at the Crystal Garden 713 Douglas Street, Computer Science, together with the Faculty of Engineering, Engineering Co-op and UVic Industry Partnerships (UIP), will have an exhibit at Discover Tectoria 2011, the biggest tech event in the city!

Discover Tectoria 2011 is a one-day exposition of more than 70 Greater Victoria technology firms and research agencies.

Hosted by VIATeC, this event raises awareness of the overall sector and plays a key role in the added attention and recognition of the local tech sector.

In addition to the expo, Discover Tectoria will host Tech Careers Orientation Session specifically targeted at University students: 

• 4:30PM - Microsoft is setting up a Victoria office in the New Year and would love to tell you more about their new studio.
• 5:05PM - HP Canada is one of Victoria's largest tech employers.
